GeoJournal is a typical GIS (Geographic Information System) application combined with a travel
"log" or photo album. In fact, you can use GeoJournal to plan upcoming trips or vacations and
then keep track of the places you visit and the pictures you take along the way. GeoJournal's
easy-to-use interface allows the user to plan trips quickly and efficiently. Furthermore,
photographs and "logs" or accounts of a trip can easily be entered and saved to the database.
Viewing photos and reading logs are easy, too, with automatically generated thumbnails of the
photographs and built-in slideshow capabilities.
Geo-Journal is Windows 2000 and XP compatible and was developed using Microsoft Visual Basic 6. Another Microsoft product used to provide functionality is the Microsoft Calendar object. Geo-Journal utilizes Microsoft Access as well for its database features.
More information, screenshots, and a trial version of GeoJournal can be found on the GeoJournal Website.
